Well, it seems like the new lease of life Who Wants to Be a Millionaire has been given will continue into 2019. With the last run of shows ending last week, auditions have reopened with rumours of a series in March, and with these applications having a closing date of 29th June, it seems the show could be back for a few runs throughout the year. All good news!
Link to the application is HERE
I can barely stomach watching too much due to the lack of questions. Unless a contestant gets to 16k there is rarely anything worth thinking about!
ReplyDeleteWith it only being 6 episodes a run, I can just about tolerate it. But ever since the relaunch its all been about the host. Have any top level quizzers been on it this time round? I known in the past pretty much all the top level guys had a chance but I have fell behind a little
ReplyDeleteInteresting comments, I am of the same opinion but Sky Plus has saved me from enduring an hour of it!
ReplyDeleteAs for known quizzer, there was a guy who I think is from the Liverpool Quiz scene on it (Jon Stitcher who got the horrible questions about Google logo colours)
What? Who wants to be a millionaire is still running? I mean I'm around my 20s now and I can definitely remember that show being a trend when I was younger! Although I would say it definitely is an interesting show as I like the type of gameplay simplicity going on. I've played the PC version and I did have a lot of fun. I don't think I would have imagined myself playing the game for real! But it wouldn't hurt to audition for Who Wants to be a Millionare, right? Hmm....
ReplyDeleteI sent them off a video and all sorts they asked for in audition...and nothing back!
ReplyDeleteAt least you heard something back! I imagine they are having hundreds and thousands of interviews
