Brainboxes urged to sign up for charity pub quiz

Teams are being urged to sign up for the fifth annual Thames Valley Pub Quiz Championships.

Brainboxes will go head to head in the competition, organised by the Rotary Club of Maidenhead Thames, which will be hosted by Tim Brooke-Taylor.

Last year's event attracted more than 300 people and raised about £3,000 for charities including the Thames Valley Adventure Playground in Bath Road, Taplow, which will also benefit from the 2013 quiz.

Tickets for the March 15 event cost £15 for teams who sign up before January 31 and include a fish supper at the Holiday Inn in Manor Lane, Maidenhead.
