The newest solo competition from the Online Quiz League is the Highbrow MIMIR due to start in March. After the success of the ongoing Lowbrow event which I mentioned earlier in the year, this competition will focus on subject considered be more highbrow. Its a fun format, results in you playing competitive matches against people of your own ability and as with everything from the OQL, will have a high standard of setting!
In the words of the organisers
"This is a quiz competition played individually using the Mimir format and focusing on the more academic side of quiz: History, Geography, The Sciences, Art, The Classics, Literature, Opera and much more.
This competition is fully international themed and has setters from across the world, so come join and test yourself against the best quizzers in the world."
The event will cost £20 to play or £15 if its your first time in an OQL event and is open to anyone across the world. All you need is Zoom!
