OQL (Online Quiz League) is still taking registrations for its Pop Culture Challenge. An individual quiz in MIMIR format to test your knowledge of all things pop culture. Having played in the first competition earlier this year, I am over the moon that a second season is only weeks away. The questions were always well written, interesting and produced close contest and after 2-3 weeks the matches become ranked, so you play people of similar ability. Its a great concept, very cheap to enter and very much worthwhile. The perfect "foot in the door" for anyone new to the competitive quizzing world.
