Book Suggestion

Lucy Worsley is a name you have have heard before and lately she has became something of a regular on the BBC. I was actually unaware before buying this book "A Very British Murder" that it was based on a TV series. Nevertheless, after reading this title I have been hunting the episodes down online. The book looks at how murder became a national phenomenon, or rather I should say how the interest and obsession with murder cases became a national phenomenon. It charts the "big" murder cases of the period, looks at how murder became central to fiction and other related issues.

A great read! Well worth your time.
