Nice to see a packed house at the Black Bull, Old Shotton quiz last night in Peterlee. The quiz has been growing for weeks and I was shocked that there was so few people there on Monday that it didn't run but it was a totally different story last night with a jam packed house, standing room only. It is a Red-Tooth ran quiz and I featured it on my quiz trek earlier in the year if you are interested. We had a good placing last night, with one or two tough rounds letting us down. Enjoyable quiz for anyone on thee area.

After a few weeks of trying I finally have reserved a flat in Sunderland City Centre pretty much opposite where I am working. This is ideal as it means no more more bus rides, 6am starts at 6pm home time. It also opens up a lot of quizzing potentials with new quizzes to try and of course the Sunderland Echo Quiz League to join which I hope to get going with very soon!

Perfection is continuing its run on BBC2's daytime schedule and for anyone who may not yet have seen it, I would urge you to try it. a True/False based game might not be every bodies cup of tea but even if you don't like the sound of the concept, it gets very addictive
