A few days ago, in my Wednesday Quiz League Report, I mentioned that I had was lucky getting a question on the "Playboy of the Western World", as at the time I was reading 'Planet Word'. Well, having now finished this book, I can highly recommend it to quizzers as its jam packed full of great facts, stories and tales of the evolution of language in all its forms!
It seems to be based on a TV show from the early 2010s which I am now eager to see.
