Online Quiz League - Sign Ups Open

 

I have mentioned the Online Quiz League various times on the blog over the past 2 years. The newest starts starts in just under a fortnight and sign ups are now open for both teams and individuals. Plenty of individuals join the league (including me) and then are matched with suitable teams so don't let a lack of quizzy chums put you off.

If you are -

a) Free on a Wednesday at 8pm

b) Looking for some more competitive quizzing

c) Seeking a community with like minded folk to quiz and then quiz some more...

Online Quiz League Final

The latest season of the Online Quiz League came to an end last night with the final of Jon Jacob Cup. A fun game to watch between Winning From Home and Marauders!

The league has a week break now and will return in May. Sign ups are still open (whether you are a team or a solo player looking to join) and all the information about taking part is HERE

A brand new event from the IQA that serves a replacement for the European Quizzing Championships! Full info HERE. Interesting decision to rebrand and expand the ever-popular European Championships.

OQL Pop Culture Challenge Final

 

The Online Quiz League Pop Culture Challenge Season 3 Finale took place on Friday and you can see the recording of the event above. The season pitted over 300 quizzers against each other on 'Pop Culture' subjects and after 9 weeks of gruelling competition the final four went head to head for the crown. Jenny Ryan (from The Chase), Dave Gregson, Lewis Jones and Bob De Caux battled it out and the above video is well worth taking half an hour of your time to watch.

The  Pop Culture Challenge is always a highlight of the quizzing calendar when it comes around and if you are interested in taking part in the next season or indeed any other of the many events OQL run check out the link HERE
